40 Day Devotional, Day 25: Divine Love

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?

(Matthew 5:46-47 NIV)

To love those who are different from us or do not love us in return is divine, reflective of the heart of God, who saved us when we were still His enemies (Rom. 5:10).

ACTION: Reflect. Whom is God calling you to love? Someone who is not like you—someone who might not necessarily love you back?
